CBSE send schools 10th term 1 result

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Saturday shared the performance of Class 10 students in their Term-I.

Cbse had send the result with the schools but said the final results will only be declared after the Term-II examinations.

‘The Board is informing the schools only about the theory performance of their students of Class X in a collective manner. Hence, the performance of individual student will not be available on the website.’ - Cbse board said in the circular.

For the 2021-2022 academic year, the board has walked in different path by conducting 10th and 12th exams in two terms, as per the new pertten, it split its rationalised syllabus by half across two terms and decided to conduct the board exams at the end of each instead of its traditional system of conducting one final board examination at the end of the year for 10th and 12th.

The Term-I examinations were held in November-December last year, there was a probability that board will release both Term 1 and Term 2 examinations of 10th and 12th together, after other boards released results of Term 1 and cbse was delaying it, but today all of a sudden crushing all the pridictions the board inform schools about the theory performance of their Class 10 students “in a collective manner”. This means performances of individual students will not be available to them on the CBSE website.

‘Being Term I only, no Mark Sheet cum Passing Certificate is being issued now. Only one Mark Sheet cum Passing Certificate will be issued after Term-II examination to have parity with the previous results. This will be comprising of total marks of both the Terms as per weightage decided of Term-I and Term-II examinations.’ -said CBSE

The Term-II theory examinations will begin on April 26. Unlike the MCQ tests that were held in term I, the term II will have 2 hours  examinations in traditional style.

‘The weightage of Term-I and Term-II exams will be decided at the time of declaration of Term-II result and accordingly, final performance will be calculated’- board said.

Meanwhile, Class 12 results have not been shared yet.
