Battle for India will be fought in 2024: Prashant Kishor

Battle for India will be fought in 2024, not in state elections: Prashant Kishor.

Prashant Kishor, an Indian political strategist and tactician.

A day after the BJP regain the power in Manipur, Uttarakhand, Goa and Uttar Pradesh. Poll strategist Prashant Kishor on Friday said : “the battle for India will be fought and decided in 2024 general elections and not in any state elections.”

Kishor on friday tweets where he said, "Battle for India will be fought and decided in 2024 and not in any state elections. Saheb knows this! Hence this clever attempt to create frenzy around state results to establish a decisive psychological advantage over Opposition. Do not fall or be part of this false narrative."

This tweet by Mr. Prashant Kishor, came a day after the outcomes of five states assembly polls had announced where BJP displayed its capability by retaining power in four states. The party also set new records by winning Uttar Pradesh for a consecutive term. Further, it also managed to hold power in Uttarakhand, Manipur and Goa though it believed coalition govt will formed by BJP, as they miss the majority by one seat. And for Congress the outcomes(results) of these five assembly polls came as a nightmare, INC was hoping to do well to revive its chances for the 2024 Lok Sabha polls and to thwart the emerging challenge from the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Trinamool Congress to replace it as the leader of anti-BJP politics in the country.
